The 80 sale bulls (2015, drop) to be offered this year are in the top 5 per cent of all indexes, enabling buyers to target more accurate and specific traits and select for particular markets with 22 reference sire lines represented.
Some of the sires include Ayrvale Genetic G11, Deer Valley All in 2138, AJC G73, AJC F615, HPCA Intensity 7102, WHS Limelight 64V, AJC J156 and AJC J72 and many more. All bulls are semen tested and have undergone physical inspection of internal and external reproductive organs.
The Cox Family have over 700 Angus cows on Angus Group Breedplan as an Angus Performance Registered herd (APR) and continue to use AI, Breedplan and DNA testing as well as tools such as $Index value to fine tune the breeding program.
They’re the quiet achievers in the Angus breed and the NXO prefix regularly appears on the top 100 sires listed for the heavy grain and heavy grass indexes.
Progeny of Speriby North bulls have been to the fore at recent weaner sales with outstanding results recorded in different selling centres.

This year’s sale bulls have all been video recorded and will be offered for the first time on AuctionsPlus enabling buyers from further afield to operate without the need to attend the physical auction.
On sale day, buyers can watch the sale on a big screen in the comfort of a large shed after pre-inspection of the bulls.
