The children marched then listened to a story, Anzac Ted.
Mack Bottrekk and Giselle Foran laid a wreath, followed by Jamahl Sharpley.
Centre manager Wayne Griffiths said it was important that the children carried on the message of Anzac through the future generations.
“It doesn’t matter whether you’re Aboriginal or not Aboriginal, if you fight for the freedom we get to share,” he said.
Commemorative lists and photos were on display at the centre, along with paper poppies made by the children.
