The camp was originally planned for September, 2016 but was washed out by rain, so it was postponed until this month.
“We had a fantastic roll-up with 47 riders and some from visiting camps from Gunnedah and even some down from the Hunter Valley,” Pony Club publicity officer Kirsty Ratcliffe said.
“Kids saw instruction from tent pegging to mechanical cow, sporting and horsemanship.”
Boggabri’s Ellie Byrill won the Water House Memorial Trophy for senior B grade jumping.
Eloise Chandler received the Davis Family Trophy for most improved female rider, while Jess McKechnie was awarded the Vinve Leehy Trophy for junior instructor.
“All had a wonderful time and we thank all our hard-working team that make this camp go ahead,” Ms Radcliffe said.
