Non-fiction titles include: Rip Off! Australian Fraud, Deception and Dirty Tricks by Peter Taylor; Learn to Crochet: All You Need Guidebook – just the thing for those rainy days and “contains 320 easy projects from accessories to homewares, for those new to crochet”; The Weekend Carpenter with “over 25 simple and stylish pieces to make for your home” by Phillip Gardner; and The Australian Gardening Encyclopedia which contains “more than 2000 plants, cultivation requirements, detailed reference table”.
Lovers of novels haven’t been forgotten either!
New books include Cast Iron “an Enzo MacLeod investigation” by Peter May, the latest thriller by the ever popular James Patterson and Ashwin Sanghi, titled Private Delhi, Danielle Steel’s The Mistress, and the latest thriller by Nicci French Saturday Requiem, described as “sophisticated, gripping, addictive … crime novels that are head and shoulders above the competition”.
Remember that library membership is free to residents and ratepayers, and also to visitors of the shire. You just need to fill out an application form, provide some written proof of your address, and you can start to borrow books at once.
