The severely undermanned Roos produced a game effort to ensure scores were level 36-all at full-time, but it was the Bullets who sealed victory in the extra period.
Both sides scored seven tries, but it was the boot of Bingara playmaker Brad Craddock which proved the difference.
He slotted six goals to ensure Bingara did not trail at the end of 80 minutes.
The visiting Roos had a number of impressive performers.
Hooker David Harris crossed for two tries, with lock Mitchell Campbell capping a typically tireless performance in a match-haul of 10 points (one try, three goals).
Halfback Rob Jones, fullback Brendan Gilham, prop Heath McIlveen and winger Nick De Groot were Boggabri’s other try-scorers.
The loss leaves the Roos second-last through the opening fortnight of the new season, one of only two clubs not to get a win on the board yet.
Boggabri hosts Barraba Bulldogs in round three action at Jubilee Oval with ladies league tag at 1pm and the men’s at 2.30pm.
