Elaine Bridge was returned as president, Sandra Tydd is vice president, Maree Jones is secretary and Helen Murrell is treasurer. Meg Smyth is club patroness and public officer.
Hospitality coordinators are Lyn Guest and Cheryl Field, with Lyn Sanson responsible for tours and publicity and Faye Byrne is WH&S officer.
President Elaine Bridge reported on another enjoyable year which included a number of guests who spoke on topics ranging from physical fitness to trekking in Nepal.
Members travelled to activities at Quirindi, Bendemeer, Duri, Dungowan, Manilla and Bingara and joined trips to the Central West and Toowoomba with neighbouring clubs.
A dedicated group of members continue to maintain the Lions Park garden beds, adding beauty to a popular town facility.
Tamworth Garden Club will host a Friendship Day with a guest speaker, floral art demonstration and a fashion parade at Attunga on April 29. Numbers and travel will be finalised at the March 27 meeting at the Lions Hall. It will be followed by lunch at 12pm at the Gunnedah Rural Museum. Sandra Tydd is hostess and Marj Hill will supply the competition prize.
