Carbon tax relief fleeting as high prices force energy rethink

Dumping Labor's carbon tax had provided only a "brief respite" from rising electricity prices, Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg has conceded, noting that consumers with the means were increasingly opting for roof-top solar and energy storage.
