Gunnedah artists Judy and Louise Baker, and Tamworth artist Annabel Hoskins will feature in the upcoming exhibition Pots and Paints at Gunnedah Bicentennial Creative Arts Gallery.

This exhibition will showcase traditional approaches to art and excellent technical ability through a number of mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. Works will feature oils, pastels, etching, and solar printing and a vast array of firing and pottery techniques.
Judy Baker is a lifelong member of the Gunnedah Art Society and is still active within the local art scene. The first work she ever exhibited was of her daughter Louise in 1965 at the second annual Currabubula Red Cross Art Show.
Louise Baker is a dedicated local artist and is an active member of the Gunnedah Pottery Group as well as Two River Arts Council’s Visual Arts Group. Ms Baker is a prolific artist and lends her hand to any medium.
Annabel Hoskins is based in Tamworth and has exhibited her works in numerous regional shows and galleries. Her paintings capture the activity and essence of her subjects.
Pots and Paints will be opened by former Gunnedah artist Yvette Hugill on March 10 at 6pm and will be exhibited until April 2. The opening is an event within the Senior’s Week program.
