Three happy people have claimed their prizes after finding a red heart tucked away in one of their blind date books from the Wishing Well. Three more hearts are still up for grabs.
If you are of a more practical bent, come along on Thursday afternoon from 3pm and try your hand at Zen Tangles. Turn your doodles into works of art with a group of like-minded people! There’s no need to book.
People who thoroughly enjoyed themselves during January were those children who took part in Find the Heroes and Villains. Could all the children who left competition entry forms at the library please call in to collect their prize.
New books added to the collection this week include David Weston’s Dog Training: The Gentle Modern Method, and Amazing Fishing Stories: Incredible Tales from Stream to Open Sea.
For people who prefer to listen to books rather than read them, there are plenty of new talking books, including A Wayside Tavern by Nora Lofts and Silent Creed, a thriller by Alex Kava.
