The LR Golf & Sports opener slammed 112 off just 65 deliveries to lift his side to an imposing 5-167 against Daisy’s Water Carriers.
It was a masterclass from the all-rounder, who carted 10 boundaries and sent six over the fence in his devastating knock.
Skipper Brad Jenkinson played a great supporting smacking 32 off 33 balls and putting on 141 with Brady for the second wicket.
It was hard toil for the Daisy’s bowlers.
Eddie McGuirk (2-16) and Paul Cruickshank (2-11) were the best of the nine who got a trundle.
Daisy’s were then never really in the hunt after losing Jay Urquhart and Adam McGuirk both without troubling the scorers.
Cameron Milne tried to steady the ship but struggled to find an ally as they slumped to 5-22 after losing 3-0.
He and McGuirk (23) stalled the carnage with a 74 run stand but any hopes they had of pulling off a miracle dissipated when Milne was trapped in front by Roger Neader for 64.
His 41-ball knock was punctuated by six fours and four sixes. Callum Hayne (15) was the only other batsmen to reach double figures as they were rolled for 129.
Luke Ryan claimed 4-21, Simon Elsley 2-2, Ashley White 1-19, Neader 1-6 and Alexander Beasley 1-15 to finish off what Brady started and secure LR Golf & Sports their first win of the competition.
Sign Print Stitch then completed an undefeated first round with a bit of a shaky two wicket win over Tamba Industrial.
After restricting Tamba to 9-90, the competition leaders had the wobbles early.
“We thought we’d bat sensibly and we ended up 6-33,” allrounder Troy Sands said.
“Luckily Damien Baldwin and Andrew Swain got together and put on 49.”
There were a few nerves when they both fell on 82, Baldwin for 24 and Swain for 17, but Bailey Lennox (8no) and Dan Adams (3no) got them over the line with just under four overs remaining.
Sands was the first to fall and said the Tamba bowlers did bowl well, particularly Darrin Cameron (4-17) and Johno Crowe (1-16).
Crowe was earlier one of their best with the bat, partnering up with skipper Blake Small to rescue them from some early trouble.
They were 6-37 when they came together and took them to 78.
Small top-scored with 30, with Crowe hitting 19.
All six Sign Print Stitch bowlers finished with at least a wicket.
Hayden Baker led the charge, taking 4-10.
