GUNNEDAH cricket is about to enter T20 mode, with an intertown competition staged in Gunnedah from Friday to Sunday before Gunnedah stages its own T20 competition in the ensuing weeks.

With regard to Gunnedah’s T20 competition which is played each Friday night from January 27 to March 10, players are reminded that the deadline for nominations is Saturday January 21.
Forms can be picked up from Autopro Gunnedah or from the local club’s representatives. Cost for rego is $50 for affiliated players and $80 for non-affiliated players.
The weekend of January 21 and 22 meanwhile will be busy as Gunnedah has visitors from Tamworth, Armidale, Inverell, Narrabri and Moree for T20 cricket.
Locals are invited to Wolseley Park and Kitchener Park as both venues are set to stage some entertaining cricket involving intertown rivalry.
The first match involves Gunnedah and Tamworth at Kitchener Park from 7pm on Friday. Stay tuned for further details of the tournament.
