Gardener Michael Cooke will leave his landscaping skills to the outdoors-only as he takes part in the annual fundraising and mo-growing drive, Movember, to encourage blokes to think about their health and well-being.
Mr Cooke has changed his business name from Grow and Mow to Grow a Mo especially for the month-long cause. Last month, Mr Cooke and his team wore pink high-vis shirts for breast cancer awareness month.
“We didn’t want to be biased so we’re doing something for the guys as well,” he said. “It’s a bit of fun.”
Mr Cooke hopes other men will throw their support behind the cause. To find out more, visit the Movember Australia website.
