After entering the weekend on 143 points with reigning champion and regular rival Troy Dries, Streater went on to record an overall score of 286 to take out Division 1 while Dries was runner-up on 293.
Division 2 was decided on a countback as Peter Knight and Don Whiteman had 338 points each, with Knight doing enough to earn first place after Knight had a one-point lead over Wade Bartlett at the halfway stage.
Brock Beasley took out Division 3 on 355 points while the second-placed Gary Ashworth had 361, after Ashworth led Beasley by two points at the start of last weekend.
Division 4 went to Luke Isbester on 377 while Steve Gardner and Rod Green were next best on 383, after Isbester wasn’t even in the top-three at the completion of the first weekend when Kobie Harris was in first place and was closely followed by Gardner and Brad Gander.
Other trophies went to Rod Green (The Veterans Nett) 290, John Millerd (Veterans Scratch), Sam Doubleday (Colts) and Harry Hubbard.
Coming up on the weekend of August 27 and 28 is the Northern NSW Amateur Championships, which is a qualifying round for the NSW Open.
Players from all over northern NSW and the North Coast will attend, with local champion Streater the favourite but sure to expect plenty of stiff competition from visiting golfers.
