The summit is a national youth conference aimed at inspiring young people to follow their dreams, challenging them to be their best self, and providing them with tools to assist them in excelling in their chosen journey.
The delegates had the opportunity to hear from more than 20 speakers about leadership, selflessness, gratitude follow and how to bounce back after tough times.
“I’ve previously attended the conference and [have] seen how valuable it is,” Gunnedah Shire Council youth development officer Sewa Emojong said.
“The three young Gunnedah delegates must be commended for their maturity and the exceptional way they represented Gunnedah.
“Tre had the courage to compete in a dance battle in front of over 300 people and took out the competition. The delegates even managed to befriend one of the guest speakers, who was also very impressed by the way they carried themselves as a group.”
Gunnedah Youth Council enables young people aged between 12-25 to have a voice and serves as a platform to empower young people to search for their own opportunities.
