A MAN has been refused bail by police after allegedly assaulting one man and attacking a dog during a suspected drug-fuelled spree in Tamworth. The 30-year-old allegedly confronted the driver inside his Holden Commodore about 5.50am on Tuesday, in Warral Rd.

The man allegedly jumped on the bonnet of the car and started to rip off the windscreen wipers, after the driver tried to wipe away the ice.
He then allegedly assaulted the driver by attacking his face before he managed to escape from the car.
The man allegedly damaged the handbrake and fled to another Warral Rd home where he’s accused of wrestling and trying to attack a Staffordshire Terrier dog by pulling on its mouth.
He was arrested nearby in Granny Munro Park. The man is facing six offences in court including committing an act of cruelty on an animal.
