Two-year-old Amelia-Rose Evans was born without part of her skull and has associated digestive issues from a rare condition known as Finlay-Marks syndrome.

Family friend Southern Cross Cruiser Club North West chapter group leader Mark "Shrek" Lightfoot heard the medical and living expenses were growing for Amelia-Rose's parents Wendy and Will, so called on a band of motorcycling mates to arrange a tour of the region to raise money.

Riders travelled from Sydney, the Central Coast, Armidale and Newcastle as well as from around the region to lend assistance.

“We didn't really have a target, but the money will go towards replacing helmets because she is growing and the doctors have started making Amelia wear helmets,” Mr Lightfoot said.

To boost fundraising, local businesses donated various items, including a Yamaha Pee Wee 50 motorcycle that was raffled. A small leather jacket was made for Amelia, adorned with badges and her name and raffled for $350. The winner presented it to the two-year-old fighter.

The ride raised more than $7000 and the GoFundMe page has raised $1000.

Mr Lightfoot said the money raised would also go towards all consumables including nasogastric tubes, trips to John Hunter and Sydney Children's hospitals and another cover for her pram.

The tour began in Tamworth, headed out on Nundle Rd and Lindsay Gap Rd to Wallabadah before they travelled to Currabubula where the trek finished.
