A $10.8m Budget windfall

In addition to the hospital, overpass and police station, the Oxley Highway received $2.5 million for upgrades to include overtaking lanes; $694,000 was allocated for local road maintenance and $202,000 for a new roundabout at Marquis and Hunter streets. Gunnedah Community Transport received $400,000.
MP Kevin Anderson said he was also excited to announce an upgrade of the Gunnedah TAFE campus.
