The Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS) netball squad will take to the court on Sunday for their last regional training session before the games.
Head coach Kirstie Fuller will be applying information gained from her time away with Netball NSW as she fine-tunes the games’ squad.
The NIAS teams to play at the games include Gunnedah players Carla Douglas and Eliza Perkins in division one. Club-mates Grace Jaeger and Chloe Perkins have been selected in division two.
The players will form part of a six-strong Gunnedah contingent, which also features Bella Gallagher and Isabelle Shortis, set to tour New Zealand with NIAS Netball in September.
The overseas tour is the first for any NIAS sport.
Sunday’s training will be held at Armidale’s UNE campus 9am-12pm.
