It was the first time a service had been held at the centre, with all staff and children taking part.
Those attending marched around the grounds, then centre manager Wayne Griffiths explained to the children why the service was being held and what Anzac Day was about.
The Last Post was played and a minute’s silence observed before Lilly Redfern and Chase Campbell placed a wreath at the bottom of a tree in recognition of Anzac.
