The festive season arrived early for the Combined Probus Club of Gunnedah which celebrated its annual Christmas in July meeting last week.

Held at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club (GSBC), the gathering catered to 63 members and friends.
All guests enjoyed a traditional Christmas lunch with a great display of Christmas decorations and much laughter and fun.
Acoustic group Uke-Alypts kept guests suitably entertained playing lovely songs for all to sing along.
The players where thanked for their free play for the members of the Probus Club and promised a return visit next year.
The next general meeting will be held at Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club on Friday, August 7, at 10am.
The August outing will be held Wednesday, August 12 at the Australian Ballet in Tamworth.
The following month’s visit will be to the Pilliga’s “Sculptures in the Scrub” sandstones caves and Pilliga Pottery on September 10.
