Despite cool conditions, both teams played some great football.
Barraba started the game well and made a few early breaks which led to the first try of the match.
The Roos finally recovered some possession and showed their dangerous potential when they move the ball around.
But against the run of play, Barraba were lucky to cross again to stretch out a 10-0 lead.
The margin only seemed to spur Boggabri on and with good ball movement on the line, Sophie Hendrie crossed out wide for Boggabri’s first try.
Boggy went into the half-time break down 10-4.

The Roos girls ran out with plenty of spark in the second-half and their controlled play was the best seen all year.
On the back of plenty of possession, Kayla Gillham scored in the corner to put Boggy within two points.
The game was in the balance and looking like it could go either way, when Boggabri came up with another good show of ball movement.
Cloe Davis scored for Boggy to hit the lead 14-10.
The Roos defended well in the last five minutes to hold Barraba out and come away with a well-deserved, four-point win.
