A try and match-winning goal by Farran Lamb on the stroke of full time handed the Gunnedah Bulldogs a 30-28 win against Narrabri on Sunday.

Bulldogs co-coach Wayne Griffiths said the win was a long time coming and the first for the top grade in months.
“Winning is always a good environment but for us it was a big relief,” Griffiths said.
“The joy and excitement for the players... it was fantastic.”
Not only did Lamb strike the winning conversion “beautifully” from a tough angle, he also scored the equalising try when he scooted over from close range.
“They [Narrabri] were looking out wide to DJ [Smith] and forgot about Farran at dummy-half,” he said.
