It was the school's first triathlon with 21 kids in two divisions swimming, riding and running their way through the short town circuit.
A number of juniors were first-time triathlon competitors and had trained for about five weeks for the event.
Triathlon co-ordinator Cath Murray said after the positive response from Friday's inaugural event, future school triathlons were definitely on the cards.
