Two spills in consecutive races at the Gunnedah Motorcycle Club-hosted event, sent riders flying.
The first crash occurred in just the second event, the Pro Opens, on the 106-race program.
Championship course clerk, Trevor Dare, said three bikes collided on turn two. Fortunately all riders walked away from the crash.
One involved, Stephan Lodge from Barraba, was later taken to Gunnedah Hospital by private car when he started to become dizzy.
Dare said the rider was then transported by ambulance to Tamworth for a CT scan.
In the following race, just the third event of the day, another three riders fell.
The pile-up involved Lachlan Ellis, Gunnedah's Anthony Dall and Mat Thorn.
Thorn withdrew from the race with cuts to his mouth and tongue, Dare said.
