Gunnedah Public School held its fete on Friday, braving the heat in a late afternoon of fun.

The fete included a barbecue, book and second-hand stalls, face-painting and the dunking machine, where students had the chance to see principal Stephen De Roos doused in water.
There was also a jumping castle, show bags and a cake stall.
