More than 130 people from places including Grafton, Casino, Muswellbrook, Narrabri, Moree, Tamworth, Sydney and Armidale came to help Gunnedah celebrate at the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club.
Organiser Glenda Silver said it was a great afternoon, and the event had raised $1200 for GS Kidd School which will be presented to the school today.
GS Kidd students gave a demonstration and students from Narrabri presented a skit.
Glenda said Gunnedah linedancers had been overwhelmed by the response.
Classes are held at the Gunnedah Public School each Monday from 5pm.
