The change of venue didn’t deter the number of roses entered. There were 338 roses of all colours, the majority made up of red, bi-colour, yellow, pink and miniature.
The organisers thanked the sponsors and judge Judy Clarke for a hard job well done.
The champion rose was won by Julia Withers and was sponsored by Petrie Mitre 10.
The prize winners were: white – Kim Shields 1; Ann Laird 2. Orange – Barry Beasley 1; Karin Forster 2. Red – Julie Mammen 1; Coralie Howe 2. Bi-colour – Julia Withers 1; Julia Withers 2. Co-ordinators Val Howes and Coralie Howe would like to thank the public for their support, helpers and Graham Howes, Rod Withers and Lou Flett for collecting and returning the bottles from the Showground Pavilion.
