Despite the heat, crowds enjoyed plant, cake and craft stalls, while the kids took part in a wide range of activities including mini train rides, face painting, the animal nursery and a jumping castle.

The Hassab’s Fashions fashion parade was another hit as models strutted their stuff to show off the newest designs for this season.

Plenty of food was on offer, with an array of baked goods and a barbecue lunch.
