Gunnedah Junior Rugby League (GJRL) know first hand how valuable such assistance can be.
For the past couple of seasons they have been given a helping hand from Buggalugs Photography who donate a percentage of their takings from team photographs, back to the club.
Their most recent contribution came in at a whopping $500.
Gunnedah club President Michelle Shoesmith said the generous donation was a warming gesture from the local photography business, run by Carly Donnelly and Justine Knowles.
Not only do the photos provide players with a lifelong keepsake but aids in their own fund raising efforts as well.
“It is quite often hard trying to come up with new ways to raise funds for the club,” Michelle said.
“Having individual and team photos taken allows our registered players to have a momento they can treasure for years to come, which also allows us to raise much needed funds for GJRL.
“Last year was the first year it was done, and this year we decided to do again however Carly and Justine suggested to have individual photos taken in addition to just team photos which has been a huge success.”
Carly and Justine thanked the families and the club for their continued support.
