SALLY Toppin has turned back the clock to take out her 11th Gunnedah Women’s Golf Club title in a three-hole play-off with youngster Brooke Fisher.

Toppin wrote her name into the club’s record books by coming from behind to catch the tearaway leader, Fisher, on the final day and force a play-off in last Thursday’s final round
Both players carded 72-hole totals of 361.
After the play-off Toppin had snared her 11th crown by one stroke.
Toppin first won the title in 2002 and then won a further nine on the trot during a golden run from 2002 to 2010.
The nett title for the tournament went to Brooke with a score of 299, Lyn Jonczyk was the runner-up with a score of 301.
Division 2 winner was Pat Dunkley with a gross score of 413 followed closely by Coral Lorimer with a gross score of 415.
Val Billsborough was the nett winner with a score of 306 and Annette Percy the runner-up with a score of 311.
Joan Bray was the winner of both the gross and the nett for Division 3 with a gross score of 423 and a nett score of 305.
Alison Dawson-Bee was the gross runner-up with a score of 443 and Margaret Weakley the nett runner-up with a score of 315.
The third round division 1 winner was Sally Toppin with a nett score of 75. Lyn Jonczyk was the runner-up with a nett score of 77.
Pat Dunkley took the Division 2 title with a nett score of 73 and Coral Lorimer was the runner-up with nett 76.
Joan Bray was Division 3 winner with nett score of 75 and Di Hasler (76) was runner-up.
Jacinta Stanley had the best shot on the second and Joan Bray was nearest the pin on the seventh.
In the fourth round division 1 winner was once again Sally Toppin who fired a nett score of 71 to take the championship title.
Tammy Sheridan took the runners-up position with a nett score of 73.
Division 2 winner was Joan Bray with nett score 73. Val Billsborough was the runner-up with a nett score of 74.
Division 3 honours went to Margaret Weakley with a nett score of 71. Joyce McAndrew was next back with 78.
Lyn Jonczyk was nearest the pin on the second while Lyn Pollock had the best shot on the seventh.
Thursdays event will be Round 4 Fourball different partners competition, players are reminded to arrange a partner.
Ground Captains are Lyn Pollock and Jenny Hughes.
Next Tuesday will see Round 5 Fourball different partners contested.
Sandra Haley and Margaret Weakley are on table duty. Margaret is asked to provide the raffle prize.
Nominations are open for the Gunnedah Plate to be played on Tuesday, August 19.
There will be a committee meeting after the presentation.
