The Namoi Valley Independent and Rosa Leopardo Hair Design are giving readers a chance to back a winner off the track at Saturday’s Wean Picnic Races, with the introduction of the NVI’s Hot 50 Fashions competition.

The style stakes will be high at Wean, as the glamour of winter racing fashion takes the spotlight.

Racegoers, both men and women of all ages, are asked to showcase their finest attire and have their photo snapped from noon until 2pm (keep an eye out for a sign near the betting circle) to be in the running for a Gold Coast holiday first prize.

The “hottest 50” racegoers will have their photos printed in the July 10 and July 17 editions of the Namoi Valley Independent and on our website – www.nvi.com.au

Readers can vote online from Monday, July 7, or via a coupon in the newspaper.

The racegoer with the most votes will collect the holiday, with the runner-up taking home $200 cash. Third place will receive $100 and one lucky random voter will also snag $100.

The competition is free to enter and the photos will be available for purchase from the Namoi Valley Independent office.

Voting will be open for two weeks and the winners will be contacted by telephone and announced in the newspaper.
