A 21-year-old man has been charged after allegedly headbutting the manager of a Gunnedah hotel over the weekend.

Police say the accused was asked to leave the Courthouse Hotel at around 10.45pm on Saturday night due to intoxication.
It’s alleged the man became aggressive with the 26-year-old male manager and headbutted him in the nose before being escorted from the premises by the victim and security.
Police allege the man urinated on the road and wanted to fight police, when a struggle then broke out.
He was eventually restrained and hand cuffed.
The man was taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, refusing to leave a licensed premises, wilful and obscene exposure and two counts of resist arrest.
He was refused bail and is due to reappear in court again today.
