The Dragons have called a 10am press conference where Cooper, 34, will make the announcement at St George Leagues Club.
The centre has had a decorated career starring in the Dragons 2010 premiership win and being the second most capped player in the joint-ventures history.
His final season has been marred by injuries, with the former NSW and Australian regular rupturing his pectoral in his final game against South Sydney last month.
